![]() Take Concealment Expert or Manual Fire Control for AA Armament when you got to 14 points (Manual Fire Control for AA if CVs like to attack you or ships around you a lot, Concealment Expert otherwise - note that you have to use the sector reinforcement system all the time to make use of the Manual Fire Control for AA, but it's something you should do all the time, even without the skill). ![]() Its more personal choice rather than "optimal" build (I think IFHE is a must though).IFHE (Inertia Fuse for HE Shells) is a must have and you have to get it first. Im not afraid of getting spotted (I know how to use cover) or having dds around (unless its a 3 ship torp wave I can dodge most if not all of them), but I am deathly afraid of good cv players. I fully agree that concealment expert is probably better overall, but when im against a t10 cv, the AA upgrades make my ship eat squadrons alive (against a midway I popped my AA consumable and ate 5 full squadrons without taking a hit). Then you really are not utilising it's strengths, concealment build lets you radar before spotted, so you can get the drop, not to mention giving you the ability to disengage and reposition a lot easier.ĭon't get me wrong, there are many viable builds and I'm not trying to push you into a specifc one, I just don't understand why you wouldn't use it to it's maximum potential.
